THE RIBBON RACERS PROJECT

THE RIBBON RACERS PROJECT is a student-led initiative based in the Greater Vancouver area of British Columbia that seeks to nurture literacy regarding cancer, encourage and promote more education about cancer treatment and oncology, and help destigmatize cancer as a whole in order to foster a better understanding of this disease that affects many individuals worldwide. This project is mainly aimed at educating the youth and making knowledge about cancer more accessible to people of younger ages, but we hope that anybody of any age can benefit from this project. Through this project, we hope to not only positively impact our communities and the lives of those affected by cancer, but to also fundraise money to donate to cancer treatment and cancer research facilities.
